Operation Level System :- It supports operational manager tacking elementary activities such as Customer, Order, Invoice Control, Production & Daily Management Activities. TPS Cycles.

1. Data Entry :- It captures the business data & record in the software for proper processing.

2. Transaction Processing :- It is done in two ways -

• Batch Processing :- Data is collected over a period of time & process periodically. It depends upon the organization who & when data is to be processed.
• Real time processing :- The data is processing immediately after the transaction occurs.

3. Maintaining Database :- For a period of a time one must update its transection processing system so that all the unwanted information should be removed to get important information on time.

4. Document & Report Generation :- TPS produce variety of documents & reports to the middle level management so that they can take decision accordingly.

2. Office Automation System[OAS] :- OAS is a system that use computer & its application to perform office activities which formulates. Its a achievement to practice Writing, Visualising & Store data in OAS. It is an amalgamation of hardware & software so that other resources use their application to run business smoothly help in communication & increase the efficiency of an organization. It digitalize the data to store, manipulate, collect & relay on office information to complete their task & goals. It helps in all office activities with using computers. Activities like exchange of information, manipulation of data management & administrative document handling & numerical data, meeting planning & works schedules.

Middle Level Management System :- It deals with Maintaining, Controlling, Decision Making & Administration Activities of an organization. It deals with the production of what if It keeps control after the operation level management.

1. Knowledge Management System :- 

It consists of Engineering Work Station, ER Processing, Work Processing, Graphic Work Station, Documents Generation, Managerial Work Station, Electronic Calendar, Knowledge & Data Management. It is basically opted by the technical person that/who help the organization about how to use information system. It is a kind of information system that store, retrieves knowledge, improve collaboration of software & hardware locate knowledge system, capture & use knowledge. It basically deals with hardware & the software part of a computer. It is a component of any organizational activity that analyze the data for strategic policy & practice at all levels of organization.

It is broadly classified under two forms :-

1. Explicit 

2. Tactic

Explicit Knowledge means it make direct contract with organization intellectual as sets and other person. Explicit Knowledge is that which can formalize easily & easily available accross the organization. It is represented in a written form on material

Example :- online notes, branches, manuals etc. 

Tactic Knowledge means it reside in a person & can't capture by an organization any other person easily. It is personal experimental based information that it is not easily available to other person or organisation.

2. Decision Support System[DSS] :- It helps manager to support in decision making process. It is high & application system i.e., used by senior manager that fulfills all the requirement of information at all levels of organization. It supports for making process control system & helps business profession to take decision. It is first & for most system that design to handle information for making decision. The concept of DSS is extremely broad so its definition varies according to the user.

• DSS is a computer based management system that supports business & organizational decision making process. It serves the management operations & planning under middle level of an organization.  

• DSS is an interactive software based on system which help in decision making by providing complete & usefull information through raw data, documents, personal knowledge & solve problems of an organization. 

• DSS can be extremely beneficial to be performance of an organization. It facilitate a manager can be sometimes over optimistic in their expectation of DSS & cab take wrong decision. 

• DSS covers wide variety of system tools & technologies. It is also called as online analytical processing

Financial Information System / Accounting Information System 

Financial Information System deals with the financial part of an organization. It supports the automotion & integration of public financial management.
It includes -

Budget :-  It divides the finance in the various departments of an organization.

Accounting :- Includes preparing of balance sheet.

Reporting :- Preparing a summary for the financial statement.

FMIS is a solution that can significantly improve the efficiency and include the efficiency & equity of government. It offers a great potential for increasing participation transparency accountability.

Human Resource Management System[HRMS] :- HRM information system deals with employees it provides information about human employees and their working efficiency in an organization. It refers to the system & interaction
Human resource management & information system technology. It starts with selection of employee evaluate the employee provide training  fix their packages according to their efficiency and motivate them to work.

Top Level Management

It is used to make strategies policies, long term planning, man power planning, operating planning, sales and profit planing and etc. Information required at this level are provided to the strategic manager who deals with strategic issues and help in making long term planning. It is used control external environment that matches with internal environment that matches with internal environment of an organization.

Executive information system is used by executives of an organization. It helps to excess the data and information which helps them in making decision. It is an infrastructure within an organization, not a piece of hardware or software. It supports the firms executive and update them with all the operational data and gather that dates in a organized way and present the information in form of summary on report.

EIS helps financial information work in progress information, sales information, market trend, industry, statistics, efficiency of man power and market price of a firm share.

EIS suggested that what need to be done at what need to be done at what time. It provides ultimative solutions of a problem but different from DSS it targets executives manager or board of director not middle level manager.

EIS include external database,  internal database, and special management database.

It is able to like data from various sources both external and internal to provide information to executive. This system is designed for top level mana which is easy to use and present information in correct form.
